Notes: Home built by William Wesley Matney on the family farm purchased by his father Carrel Broad Matney around 1854. The source labels this photo William's "homestead" which is not technically accurate. Carrel homesteaded 320 acres near today's Eagle Point and sold that claim to purchase the Applegate farm.
