Notes: Lyman was the nephew of the Jackson County-based Saltmarsh pioneers. He married Elizabeth in 1877, in Linn County, and they soon moved to Yakima. He married his second wife in British Columbia then lived in Canada for some time. His third wife was his first cousin: Teresa "Tessie" Saltmarsh (1873-1960), daughter of Sylvester & Annette Haskins Saltmarsh.
