Notes: Fred was born and raised at Logtown. He was a prolific poet and played violin. He married Lucy in Roseburg in 190. They lived in the Applegate and then various places in Washington and California before returning to Jackson County in the early 1940s. Fred is buried at Logtown within a few hundred yards of his birthplace.
