Notes: Harvey Turnbull Granger (1909-97) and his brother Clarence came from a pioneer south Bay Area ranching family. Harvey owned extensive acreage in Alameda and San Jose counties - even built a golf course with his brother, an Engineer at Kaiser. Harvey, wife Janet, and their 3 children came to Applegate Valley in 1963. We think this land was part of the William Pernoll homestead (as in the Pernoll store aka Applegate Valley Historical Society Museum).
