Notes: Great grandson of Jane, a slave kidnapped from Madagascar in 1797 and sold at a Virginia slave auction. Son of Susannah Mathews/Weeks. George was born January 15, 1865, in "Uniontown" - probably the modern Dunlap Road area, the Lewis and Maranda Ann Garey homestead claimed in 1870.
