The copy of this photo on file at Southern Oregon Historical Society misidentifies the Thomason family as "Thompson" and lacks first names; Beaver Creek School records provide these identities. The other children attended Watkins School. Martha was born and Sophia as a young girl lived at Kanaka Flat.
