Notes: Edmund Ramsay and Eleanor "Nell" Post married in Southern California in 1935. They came to the Upper Applegate Valley in 1946 and took up dairy farming on land patented by "Squire" Melvin and Almira (McKee) Sturgess in 1880, which by 1946 was owned by Rolland "Sandy" and Clara (McKee) Smith. The Ramsays founded Ramsay Realty in the 1960s. After retirement they lived in Brookings then Sutherlin where Edmund died in 1995. Nell died in Portland in 2006. They are buried at Logtown Cemetery.
