Notes: Born at Logtown, 10th of the 14 children of John & Maryum McKee. He married Felicitia Harvey in 1889 and they had 2 daughters, Myrtle Clara (b. 1890) and Laura Isobel (b. 1892). Felicitia's family did not think that Silas was good enough - they took Felicitia and Laura away by train, leaving Myrtle with Silas whose younger sisters Rachel and Mary had rushed to the station in an attempt to intervene.
